This is a review on the Rapine office. We are forced to go to Rapine for our insurance and though we appreciate Dr. Marsh's office accepting Tricare Prime, I do feel there are areas of improvement. Being a tricare patient, we have to go through our PCM for all referrals. It seems to take a while to get those referrals. I've had to call back multiple times to get the referral processed. Working in a Dr's office myself, I know the turnaround for referrals and authorizations. I've had to contact our insurance as well as the Dr that we are being referred to to get the ball rolling. Then I call my PCM's office back and give the info and let them know that the Dr is asking for the office notes and authorization #. I get asked for the fax number. Is this not your job to take care of the entire process of referrals? It's hard enough finding a physician that is a Tricare Prime provider when not in a military area. Is it too much to ask for good customer service?
